History:
About Sierra Donna Jackson aka DJ Femmie was a former Jazz Vocalist in the New Jersey Club Circuit. She was the Leader of The Jackson Quartet - Sierra Donna's Music Director was Radam Schwartz and they performed regularly in many clubs. She was a featured vocalist with the Jazz Collective Big Band in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Some of the rooms she performed in are: The former J. August Cafe, Far and Away, Havana in New Hope Pa, O'Connors,Tweeds, First Choice, Ryans, and many other clubs with the Donna Jackson Quartet. Sierra Donna has worked with the following musicians: Larry Barbee, Andy McCloud, Steve Nelson, Kevin Coyle, John Bianculli, Leslie Ford, Larry Jones, Corky Caldwell, Jerry D'iana, Wes Brinson and Brian Fitzgerald - co- producer of her music. DJ Femme has been a Disc Jockey for 10 years and enjoys every minute of playing great classic music for great people. DJ Femme is also a talented lyricist and has written and produced music with Brian Fitzgerald. Sierra Donna Jackson owes her music career to Radam Schwartz and Leslie Ford who helped her organize the songs she sang publicly. Sierra Donna Jackson has studied voice with the capable Suzanne Ferris Hammer.
Sierra Donna Jackson Ms. Jackson has hosted events where many wonderful artists have performed including Bill Bellamy, Jeannie Bryson, Brigitte Tillett Whaley, Jackie Jones, Dena Allen, the Magnificent Baby Boy, Mary Clark and appeared at the Late Raandu Avian's shows. A graduate of Katherine Gibbs completing an 18 month program in Visual Communications. Website, and graphic design are also a few of the skills she uses daily.
2006 DJ Femmie created her first website and has since created 2 new sites to get updates about DJ Femmie projects, become a fan or just stop by and say hello. They are websites with a concentration on the development of new artists and new music.
In May 2009 DJ Femmie started producing promotional cds online and currently has 60 cds on some of the most important mixtape cd companies in the world. Sierra Donna aka DJ Femmie currently creates online CDs for Coast2Coast, Datpiff ,Thatcrack, Mixtapefactory, Manmixtapes and is part of the COAST2COAST DJ Coalition, Certified DJ Coalition and the Hard Hitterz DJ Coalition.
2009 DJ Femmie started produces online CDs in the following genres: Rap, R &B, and Clean Hip House, Reggae, Reggaeton, house and underground club music &gospel house music. She has broken many new artists and new records coming from many music marketing companies: Virdiko, MP3Waxx, Rapstarpromo, Greenhitz, Diggiwaxx, Whitelabel.net, Future Star, Digital Waxx Service (Diggiwaxx), and receives 100 new songs per day from major artists, independent labels, music marketing companies and solo artists..She is a graphic designer and designs many of her CD covers for her compilations. Expert in CD production and since she is a vocalist regularly reviews music for Virdiko, MP3Waxx, Rapstarpromo, Greenhitz, Diggiwaxx, Whitelabel.net, Future Stars and independent artists send Dj Femmie music to get her opinion to make it or break it.
